HOW IT WORKS: This is a valet parking service. Drive to the pick-up point at the address indicated on your booking and the valet parking company staff will pick up your vehicle and take it to a nearby public car park in Amsterdam, where it will remain until you request for it to be returned. And remember! This is just the meeting point with the driver who will pick up your vehicle :) There are infinite options on how to spend your time in Amsterdam. In this area you surely won’t be bored; just strolling through and looking around the city centre is a real pleasure for the eyes. Dam Square, The Red Light District, Nieuwmarkt and all their attractions are within walking distance from here. Sound interesting? Keep reading and see what you think! We have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that parking in central Amsterdam is a bit of a nightmare. However, the good news is that we have come up with a solution. Valet parking! Drop your car at number 5, Rusland street where a professional driver will whisk it away – very carefully - to a secure car park just outside the centre. So, off you go and enjoy yourself! Once you’ve got there it doesn’t really matter which direction you go in, you will find something to keep you entertained! Just pop over the canal in front of the hotel and you will come across Amsterdam Museum or Dam Square and all its contents - the Palace and the National Monument - in about 5 minutes. If you feel like holding off on the culture just for the moment you can check out Kalverstraat, one of the main shopping streets in the city, for a bit of retail therapy. Walk north a little way up the canal and you will be bathed in the glow of one of Amsterdam’s unique attractions, the Red Light District. ◊ Getting around There isn’t much in the way of public transport near the meeting point but if you need to get to Central Station, it’s only 5 mins to Nieuwmarkt metro. Then you can get anywhere you need to go. We always recommend hiring a bike while you’re here, as I’m sure you know there are no hills, so it’s really no trouble! » To get here The easiest route to the meeting point would be to find Dam Square and follow Damstraat over a little canal, continuing onto the Oudezijds Voorburgwal street until getting to Rutland street. This is a valet service car park. ON THE DAY OF YOUR ARRIVAL:



1. One hour before you arrive at the meeting point, you'll receive an email message with the driver's details who will pick your car up. As well as a code, which you'll have to show to the driver, both when you leave your car, as well as when you want to pick it back up again.



2. A professional driver in a WeParc uniform will be waiting for you at the meeting point to pick your car up and park it in a monitored nearby car park. Make sure you take your Parclick reservation and email code with you.



3. To guarantee a quality service, when you hand over your car the driver will ask for the email code that you'll have been sent. After having taken your car, they will inspect it and take photos.



ON YOUR RETURN:



1. When your reservation ends, WeParc staff will deliver your vehicle to you at the same point where it was picked up. If you want to speed up the process for when you come back, call the phone that you will find in your reservation at least 2 hours before your car is due to be returned to you. You can also change the point of return of the vehicle by calling the driver well in advance.



2. To ensure that it is in fact your car that is being returned to you, show the driver the email code that was sent to you when you dropped it off.



3. Please note that the driver can wait for you at the meeting point at the agreed time for a maximum of 10 minutes. Leggi di meno
