HOW IT WORKS: This is a valet parking service. Drive to the pick-up point at the address indicated on your booking and the valet parking company staff will pick up your vehicle and take it to a nearby public car park in Amsterdam, where it will remain until you request for it to be returned.
And remember! This is just the meeting point with the driver who will pick up your vehicle :)
The ‘Oud West’ part of Amsterdam is absolutely beautiful and has become a very popular neighbourhood full of character. It’s a have-it-all area, where everyone can get their daily dose of ‘living in’ Amsterdam. A stroll to the Museum District and ‘Iamsterdam’ sign or a night out at lively Leidse Square. Your wallet’s worst nightmare: a visit to P.C. Hooftstraat or perhaps you could have a low budget bring-your-own food & drinks pic-nic in Vondelpark.

Finding a parking space can be an epic adventure in Amsterdam, especially in the centre. Luckily, we happen to have a valet service drop-off point at number 7, Vondelstraat. Drive directly to the drop-off point, where an experienced driver will meet you at the agreed time to take your car off your hands. The driver will bring it to a secured car park just outside the city centre.
Here is a small selection of ideas on how to spend your time here.
If you’re lucky enough to get to meet sunny Amsterdam, one place you need to, you have to, you must go to is Vondelpark. After spending a sunny afternoon here, you’ll never question Amsterdam’s reputation for tolerance and their laid-back attitude again. It’s full of barbecues, people doing yoga, picnickers, runners, dancers and cyclists - or I should say their bicycle bells! If you don't get so lucky, there’s still plenty to do here, such as: VondelCS, Kunsthuis Amsterdam and The Blue Tea House.
The Overtoom, which has become a major interior boulevard, is only two streets away from here. One block further, you’ll find Kinkerstraat, which contains an assorted mix of convenience shops, vintage stores and excellent coffee bars!
Continuing on your way, in a side street off the Kinkerstraat, you’ll find an amazing addition to the old west part of Amsterdam: ‘De Hallen’, and more specifically ‘De Foodhallen’. It’s a classy and hip indoor market, located in a historic, industrial former tram depot. Taste Amsterdam’s multiculturalism while fine-dining & drinking and trying street food from Amsterdam’s best respected kitchens. It’s a perfect ‘rainy day activity’!
◊ Move around
All attractions mentioned above are within walking distance from the drop-off point. But of course you can take a tram, metro or bus as well. The tram stop ‘Overtoom’ is nearby, from where you can take lines 3 and 12. The tram stop ‘Leidseplein’ is also close to the drop-off point, from here you can take line 1, 2 or 5 to the Central Station. If you’re good at multitasking, exploring the city on a bicycle might be a great experience as well.
» To get here
The drop-off point is at number 7, Vondelstraat. When driving on the A10 Ring Road, you take the S106 to Vondelstraat in Amsterdam-West. Continue until you reach number 7 Vondelstraat.
Valet parking is becoming more and more popular in cities like Amsterdam, because it’s safer, cheaper & more convenient. We suggest you to pre-book your parking space as well! Leggi di meno
